An additional fee paid by the buyer, normally a percentage added onto the final bid price.
All such charges will be indicated in the relevant auction brochure, auction catalog, or the specific sales detail page or other clearly marked area of the Website. If charged, the Buyer's Premium shall be collected by Comly directly from each successful bidder, in addition to the final bid price.
An important part of any auction is the inspection process. Inspection dates and times are made available to the public in advance of the sale.
Comly is not responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness of, or defect in any lot and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance will be made or sale set aside on account of any incorrectness, error in cataloging or any imperfection not noted. No deduction will be allowed on damaged articles as all goods are exposed for public exhibition and are sold "AS IS" and without recourse. It is for this reason that all Buyers should avail themselves of the opportunity to make inspection prior to the sale.
Registration takes place the day of the auction. When arriving at any auction, a registration clerk will be present. He/she will ask you to complete a registration card. To register, a prospective bidder must:
- provide his/her full name, residence/business address, telephone number, email address (or simply provide us with your business card) and where they heard about the auction. Real estate auctions will also require you to show your driver's license and the required deposit in the form of a cashier's check.
- sign the bottom portion of the registration card which acts as an acknowledgement that he/she has read and agrees to be bound by the terms & conditions on the reverse side of the registration card.
The registration clerk will then give the prospective bidder their bidder number.
All participants are required to have a bidder’s number, which will be valid for that auction sale only.
